Trip to Axiom gallery

We took a nice class field trip to the Axiom Gallery. The exhibit was titled...

COLLISION1101:superartificial

It really took advantage of art that was interactive. Some of the pieces interacted both with the viewer(environment) and interacted with itself. A lot of the works had an AI type feel to it.

As the world and technology evolve.. so must art. Art in many ways is a reflection of life. That reflection is always dynamically changing with the world around. As our minds change.. creative changes with it. People laughed when photography was used as an art medium. The same happened as people began to use computers to make art. If we can keep an open mind as life unfolds.. then art will lose its borders of judgment. Creativity is freedom.
