The electron is an amazing thing. It could be everywhere and nowhere all at once. The quantum world is a place where our normal modes of thinking no longer apply. It made me start to wonder then that if the electron has the potential to blink in and out of existence... then was is stopping us from being able to do things like pass through walls. It turns out lots of other people have thought about this as well. The process is called Quantum Tunneling...... here is a video that is pretty easy to follow.
