Man Made Black Holes
Sometimes we get too far ahead of ourselves with science. We seeks to create and discover but at what cost? We created the atomic bomb with no real understanding of what its potential was. We didn't even know when we first tested the bomb...that the explosion wave reaction would actually stop or if it would just keep going and destroy the world. As our technologies and hunger for more knowledge grows more and more... a new reality of morals and ethics needs to evolve to. This was a very interesting article i came across in the new york times about the dangers that we could inadvertently create a black hole on earth. This black hole could be created as a side effect to a new particle accelerator that we build in Europe for particle collision experiments. Even if you have no idea what a black hole really is.. I am sure you know that it is not a good thing.
