Scientists have always been fascinated with the deaths of stars. For those of you whom are not familiar with how stars die........a massive explosion beyond most of comprehension happens. But because these explosions always seem to happen in galaxies far away from our own, we never get a chance to see the initial explosion as it happens. We always come after to observe the aftermath and destruction of the blast. But recently a team of scientists caught a massive stellar explosion only a few hours after it happened. This was a stroke of luck by looking in the right place at the right time just by chance. Here is the article that goes more in depth on BBC
