It has always fascinated me that there were many calenders throughout time and cultures that have predicted the end of the world to happen roughly 2012. There must be some sort of science or upheld belief that supported this reoccurring theme. It surprised me that as i did more and more research into this matter.. some troubling facts started to arise. We all know that the dinosaurs died because of a massive extinction level event. This was due to a massive object smashing into our planet from space. The fall out from this event left the ecosystem barely hanging on. But what amazed me was that this wasn't the first massive extinction event that has happen in our planet's history. Many extinctions has occurred. And not only that but these extinctions happen on a regular time line. The time frame of extinctions happen roughly about every 25 million years. Scientists started to become concerned by this troubling fact. The search was on. What was causing these extinctions events to happen on a regular timeline. The result of this inquiry was NEMESIS. This is the theory that our solar system is not in fact a single star system but a binary system (2 star system). These multi star systems are the galactic norm in the universe. The other star was probably a Red or Brown Dwarf star. (This is a undiscovered failed star), (failed stars are stars that do not have enough material to spark fusion in the core) This failed star orbits at the very reaches of our solar system. The gravity from this star as it passes through the Oort cloud (deep outer asteroid belt) perturbs the orbit of these asteroids and sends them headed straight toward to sun.. (with us in the path). Earth finds its way into a massive shooting gallery of space objects. The next project time of NEMESIS passing through the Oort cloud. 2012! +/- about 100,000 years tho..... Scary stuff..
